ISS Programs
Poland in the European Union - has been running since 1994 and deals with the evaluation of the process of European integration in a broad international outlook with an emphasis on the Polish membership in the EU.
New Shape of Euroatlantic Security - the program is dedicated to the changes in the architecture of security occurring in the Euroatlantic area after 1989.
Poland East Policy - the objective is to define the desired shape of Poland’s relations with its eastern neighbors, particularly in terms of Polish membership in the European Union.
Energy Security - the program aims to carry out a wide public debate and develop an energy strategy at the level of Poland and the EU as a whole, using different energy sources, the mode of their diversification and modernization of the logistics infrastructure.
Institute for Non-Governmental Organizations - the objective of the program is to support NGOs in the effective operation, the proper use of national and European resources, building regional linkages and support efforts for the development of a democratic and open civil society.
INDEX In Remembrance of Polish Citizens Murdered by the Nazis for Rescuing Jews - this is a research project carried out, among others, in cooperation with the Yad Vashem Institute and the Institute of National Remembrance, the National Cultural Center, the Jewish Historical Institute and the Museum in Oświęcim. Chairman of the program is Professor Władysław Bartoszewski. The main objective of the program is to examine the scale of the Nazi repression against Poles supporting the Jews during the Nazi occupation and to commemorate of those murdered. The program, in addition to research in the archives, focuses on educational projects and publications.
