XXXI edycja Międzynarodowej Krakowskiej Konferencji Bezpieczeństwa pt.: „Euro-Atlantic Forum on Democracy and Security: Freedom Our and Yours” będzie skupiać się na kwestiach bezpieczeństwa i zmianach, które zachodzą w demokracjach w Europie i na świecie, opisywać współczesne układy o wysokim stopniu współzależności oraz starcia odmiennych perspektyw teorii stosunków międzynarodowych na najbardziej aktualne wydarzenia.

Program naukowy wydarzenia obejmuje dwudniowe forum podzielone na 12 paneli dyskusyjnych poświęconym zagadnieniom wzrostu tendencji autorytarnych w Europie i na świecie oraz zmianom w postrzeganiu wartości liberalnych, fundamentów liberalnej demokracji oraz liberalnego konstytucjonalizmu.

Jedną z najważniejszych kwestii omawianych podczas wydarzenia będzie rosyjska inwazja na Ukrainę, która zapoczątkowała bezprecedensową we współczesnej Europie transformację struktury międzynarodowej – starcie demokracji i autorytaryzmu. Agresja Rosji stanowi bezpośrednie zagrożenie nie tylko dla krajów wschodniej flanki, ale też dla porządku międzynarodowego zbudowanego dookoła NATO.

Językiem wykładowym konferencji będzie j. angielski. Wystąpienia będą symultanicznie tłumaczone na j. polski. Wystąpienia prelegentów będą udostępniane za pomocą mediów społecznościowych, a po zakończeniu wydarzenia – także w formie nagrań. W późniejszym terminie ukaże się także publikacja online, która podsumuje wyniki wydarzenia oraz wypowiedzi i dyskusje.

The XXXI edition of the International Krakow Security Conference titled: „Euro-Atlantic Forum on Democracy and Security: Freedom Our and Yours” will focus on the security issues and changes that are taking place in democracies in Europe and the world. Speakers from Europe and United States will try to describe and analyze contemporary systems with a high degree of interdependence and the clash of different perspectives of international relations theory on the most current events.

The event will be a two-day forum divided into 12 panel discussions devoted to the issues of the rise of authoritarian tendencies in Europe and in the world, as well as changes in the perception of liberal values, the foundations of liberal democracy and liberal constitutionalism.

One of the most important issues discussed at the event will be the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has set in motion a transformation of the international structure that is unprecedented in modern Europe – a clash between democracy and authoritarianism. Russia’s aggression poses a direct threat not only to the countries of the eastern flank, but also to the international order built around NATO.

The lecture language of the conference will be English. The speeches will be simultaneously translated into Polish. The speakers’ speeches will be made available via social media, and after the event – also in the form of recordings. An online publication will also be released at a later date, summarizing the results of the event and the contributions and discussions.
